Sabir Mohammed Ahmad, also known as Sabir Kurdistani, was born in 1955 in Kirkuk. He is married and has three daughters and a son. In 1970, he sang for the first time at Imam Qasim School in Kirkuk on the occasion of the establishment of the Kurdistan Students Union. In 1971, he recorded his first song on Kirkuk TV. In 1972, he recorded a song for the Kurdish Radio in Baghdad.[1]
