He was born in the year 1935 in the city of #Saqiz#. He completed his primary and secondary education at Shapoor School and Shapoor High School and later graduated from Nizam Markazi High School in Tehran and received his diploma. Because it did not suit his artistic spirit, he left the military and became a schoolteacher at Shapoor School in Saqiz. After a while, he joined the Keshavarzi Bank and worked as a bank employee in the cities of Kurdistan province such as Mariwan, Bijar, Qurwa, Bokan, and later Saqiz until he retired in 1988. Mr. Mohsen Sadiqi was an expert in Tar and Setar instruments. He had a good voice and always tried to keep folk musical works alive in meetings. He was one of the first people to bring a gramophone to Saqiz. He had a special interest in solving tables, especially scientific tables. Mr. Mohsen Sadiqi's house and place of residence were always open to guests and lovers of Kurdish folk music and folk songs. For this purpose, many famous scholars and teachers visited Mr. Mohsen Sdiqi. Unfortunately, this golden treasure of the Saqiz region passed away on January 4, 1994, in Saqiz, He left behind a book called Saqiz During The Passage of Time, which was later published thanks to the efforts of his family, especially Behjat Akhavan, Mr. Mohsen's wife it was published in Tehran. Recently, Mr. Papoo Sdiqi collected some of the valuable life and stories of Mr. Mohsen called Memoirs of Masster Mohsen Sdiqi, which is going to be released as a useful book and enrich the Kurdish library.[1]
