He was born on July 1, 1940 in a hardworking Kurdish family in the town of Makhmur. He could not complete his education successfully due to the difficulties of life and the unfavorable situation in Iraq.
He was arrested by the Ba'athists in 1963 and tortured in prisons in Mosul and Baghdad for two years and several months and Kirkuk is imprisoned because he was involved in the secret organizations of the Communist Party of the time.
After his release in 1965, he went directly to the areas that were the center of the revolution and joined the Kurdish revolution and settled in Ruandz region.
He was away from his ancestral region for 51 years only to take part in the Kurdish revolution. Few people knew that he was born in the plains of Qaraj and Kandinawa and came to the deserts of Balakayety to struggle for Kurdish freedom.
During his stay, he participated in dozens of heroic deeds and his name soon spread in the region.
He was given a rifle by the late Idris Mustafa Barzani for his bravery and patience.
In 1971, he trained those who joined the ranks of the revolution in the Balakayati region, where there was a military headquarters of the revolution.
He was an influential participant in the September Revolution and was a person of determination and trust of the high commanders of the revolution.
In 1974, he returned to Iran like everyone else and lived a difficult life until he returned home in 1979.
After returning from Iran, he started working in the Occupation Directorate. During this time, he risked his life to travel to the borders and brought a lot of military aid and food to the Peshmerga forces.
He continued in this job for more than 30 years before retiring.
He was an educated person who loved to read, and in his spare time, he read magazines and newspapers.
He is survived by 18 children; nine sons and nine daughters.
He passed away on (13-10-2016) due to an illness in Erbil and was buried in Rwanduz.[1]
