He was born in 1963 in Shorjay neighborhood of Kirkuk.
About his life as an artist, he says:
I went on stage for the first time in 1973 when I was in primary school.
Then I went to theater in Kirkuk for five primary and all three secondary grades.
In 1980, when the Institute of Fine Arts was opened in Sulaymaniyah for the first time, I was one of the first students admitted to the theater department.
In 1983, I directed and acted in the play Silk Drum. In the same year, I played the role of Sokolov in the play “The Fate of Man” directed by my dear friend Shafiq Mohammed.
In 1984 I participated in the play (Lebadnawabo Ferbun) directed by the late Arez Mawloud. In the same year, we made Hama Fariq Hassan's story “The End Point” into an 8mm film which I wrote and acted in.
In 1985 in my last year of institute I directed the play (Rules and Outside the Rules) by Bertolt Brecht, and I participated in the play (Hamlet Wakes Up Late) by the late Arez Mawloud. I participated in writing, acting, and directing.
In 1987 I participated in the second festival of Sulaymaniyah Institute of Fine Arts in the monodrama (The Carriage Goes) by acting and directing.
In 1991 I directed my first video film after the uprising, Karaj.
In 1992 I presented a poetic play for children that was all songs. I wrote, acted, directed, and composed my own play.
In 1994 the documentary and drama film (Zameli Garmian) directed by me was shown only one night in Sulaymaniyah because it talked about the reality of the fratricidal war and the livelihood of the guerrillas, veterans, and citizens.
In the same year, we established the Kirkuk Cultural Directorate with the help of a group of loyal people.
In 1996 I organized the first Kirkuk Children's Song Festival, which featured seven children's songs composed by me.
Then abroad with Mr. Razgar Bahir, Mr. Dr. Araz Abdulkarim and a group of loyal friends we organized an artistic and literary movement. Araz Abdulkarim and directed by Rizgar Bahir came back and were shown in the Netherlands, Sweden, Belgium, UK and Sulaymaniyah.
In 2002 in the 3rd Kurdish Theater Festival in Wuppertal, Germany, we won the best actor, best writer and second director.
In the same year, I participated in the Kurdish Culture Festival in Maastricht, the Netherlands.

In 2005 I played a simple role in Shams and Rumi.
In 2006 I played a central role in the film To Believe, which is scheduled to be released in October.
In 2007 I played the lead role in the film (Rest Store) about a Kurdish refugee from Kirkuk.
In June 2007, I participated in the play “Tears of God” and we plan to perform it again on September
Since 2004, I have been broadcasting two hours a week on Kurdish TV in Nashville.[1]
