He was born on 01/07/1950 in Khanaqin.
He is the head of the Bureau of Thought and Awareness of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK).
In 1992, he received his master's degree in scientific and political sociology from the Department of International Relations at the University of George August in Germany.
In 1970, he published his first article in Arabic in Baghdadi's magazine Alphabet.
In the same year, he joined the Kurdistan Students Union.
He was a member of the Khanaqin area committee of the Kurdistan Students Union.
In 1971, he became a member of the Diyala branch of the Kurdistan Students Union.
In 1971, he joined the Kurdistan Ranjdaran Association, formerly known as the Kurdistan Marxist-Leninist Association.
In 1974-1975 Joined the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces, then the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) led by Mullah Mustafa Barzani.

In 1977 he went to the mountains and participated in the armed groups of Qaradagh and Garmian.
In 1978, he became a member of the Komala Center, which consisted of the late Nusrewan Mustafa, and Martyr Azad Hawrami.
He was a member of the first term of the Political Bureau of the PUK.
In 1979, he was in charge of the media center of the PUK.
In 1982 he moved to Germany.
In 1991 he became a member of the World Writers Union (PEN).

He has participated in several international seminars and congresses on the Kurdish issue in Bremen, Lausanne, Bonn, Düsseldorf, Amsterdam, Berlin, Göttingen, etc.
He was a member of the founding committee of the European-Kurdish Friendship Organization.
In 2000, he screened the film Nali.
In 2003 he returned to Kurdistan.
In 2004, he became the head of the Bureau of Thought and Awareness of the PUK.
He is one of the founders of the Zhin Center for Printing, Publications and Documents.
He is currently in charge of the PUK History Center.[1]
