Kamil Zhir

Kamil Zhir
Zhir: is the nickname of Kamil Nizamuddin Jalal.
He was born on #20-12-1934# in #Sulaymaniyah#.
He comes from an intellectual family.
His father: As a graduate of the sixth grade of the Ottoman period and as an Islamic student for several years, he was well-educated and knew Kurdish, Arabic, and Persian. He had very nice handwriting. As a result, people have turned to him to write letters of complaint, complaints and contracts free of charge. He taught children to read and write for free.
His grandfather Sheikh Jalal was the Mufti of Sharbazher. He was also a court employee for a while. He was the son of Sheikh Taha Sheikh Salami, Qazi of Sharbazher. This goes back to the religious scholar Sheikh Nizami, whose tomb is in the village of Chenara near Darbandikhan and is still a popular pilgrimage site. Their great-grandfather is Pir Khdri Shaho of Zoroastrianism.
His father's uncle, Sheikh Salami Azabani, was a famous nationalist, politician and intellectual of his time.
Uncle: A.B. Hawri: He was a nationalist, writer and educator.
His brother, Fazil Nizamuddin, was a writer, storyteller and dictionary writer. He owned the dictionaries Astera Gasha, Shirin and Shirini Nwe.
Father-in-law, Sheikh Hassan Sheikh Hama Marf: Journalist, translator and radio worker.
He has two sisters and six brothers, two of whom, Hiwa and Jamal, are engineers.
Lawyer: Kamil Zhir: Graduated from the College of Law in Baghdad, took eight English courses at the American Institute and one German course at the Goethe Institute in Baghdad. He spent five months in Geneva, Switzerland, trying to learn French. He studied acting and directing at the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad for a year. He received two degrees in administration from Baghdad and three honorary degrees in culture.
Printed works:
1- This collection of poems (Kurdishness and Beauty): In general, the values of Kurdishness, beauty of morality, beauty of nature and beauty of women include a number of new poems and some selected poems from previous collections of poems. At the literary level, they have the same spirit and influence and the same weight. The previous books are no longer available, so it was considered necessary to reprint them here.
2- Kurdishness and the Comedy of Corruption: It consists of twenty short political stories in one volume in the form of satire on the widespread corruption in power. (2008) Published in Sulaymaniyah.
3- Kurdishness of Thought and Movement: This is a collection of political comments and memories of the author between 1948-1994. Jamal Nabaz, Dr. Osman Barzanji, Zanyar Qargay, Asos Hardi, Kandesh, Hawal newspaper, Raya al-Hurriya newspaper, Sirwan Kawsi, Mullah Bakhtiar, Chenar Jola, Botan Jalal, Nawshirwan Mustafa and Emad Ahmad. It also includes some reactions against Faryad Rawandzi, Dr Kurdo Ali, Sherko Bekas, Rebin Hardi, Dr Kamal Mazhar, Ahmad Hamid and Dr Hussein Mohammed Aziz, with six articles: Barzani and Kazhik, the owners of the files, the Iraqi game, the Kurdistan and Iraqi constitution, the Kurdish issue and international law, the demonstration of 14-02-2004 and others. (2006) Published in Sulaymaniyah.
4- Kurdishness and Independence: In this book, he first defines Kurds, Kurdistan and Kurdishness and scientifically encourages the Kurdish movement to go beyond the imposed circle. Due to the lack of independence. He answers questions about the failure of the emirates, the government of Sheikh Mahmoud, Kazhik and PASOK. It proves the fact that living together with the invaders of Kurdistan is difficult in any name. However, the leadership of the current Kurdish parties is not at the level of independence. It will draw up a plan and program for Kurdistan's independence and consider all possibilities in this regard. Published in Sulaymaniyah (2002).
5- Ideas: Books in Arabic. It responds, with courage and authority, and with the latest thoughts on the attitude and number of researchers who look at the Kurdish issue, in terms of the appearance of affection and the inner analysis of the story. As corrected by the last number of books of the authors on this issue. Then it comes to the thematic issue of creating and organizing national security and public opinion in Kurdistan. When the subsidiary contract for the restoration of Adartin unity in South Kurdistan became a reality. Then he sheds light on the whole of the concepts of the righteous errors in the minds of people that is effects of centuries of occupation and apostasy that result from the compounds of deficiency, fear, shame, deviation and lack of self-confidence, Add to Legal Research for Legal System Reform in Kurdistan.
6- Kurdishness and an Independent Kurdish State: This book, published by Roj Press in Sweden / Stockholm in 1994 in 107 pages, is the first edition of Kurdishness and Independence, which is the subject of paragraph (4) above, with some differences and after some new items were added.
7- Zhir's Poems: A collection of his poems until 1993, which was collected by Roj Publishing House in Sweden and published in 428 pages With a research entitled (My Practices in Poetry and a Lesson on Poetry). Both of them cover 463 pages.
8- Gawra Piaw: Three plays in poetry. With the second edition (Women and Writing) was published by the same institution in Sweden in 117 pages.
The first play, Ahay Jaw, is about a man whom some people in Sulaimani called crazy and others called Wali.
The second play (Naza) is a struggle between the beg, the farmer, the intellectual, the rich, the doctor, the industrialist, the engineer, the struggler, and the chaos.
The third play (The Big Man) is about the famous Bashir Moshiri in a comedic way.
It is worth mentioning that the works were published in Sweden AND a small number of them reached Kurdistan.
9- Beauty: Poems about the beauty of women. (1983) Published in Sulaimani.
10- Kurdishness: Poems about Kurdishness, written between 1958 and 1960, with an introduction by Jamal Nabaz.
11- Nazanin: His first collection of poems was written between 1954 and 1957.
12- Woman and Writing: A comedy play, published in 1956 and staged on the stage of the boys' high school in Sulaymaniyah.
In the field of politics:
1. He was a member of the Iraqi Communist Party (1948-1958). He was imprisoned several times for his activities in the party and its organizations. He has been cut off from school. (1954-1955) Abducted to Shu'ayba, (1957) to (1958) as a political exile, sent to Abu Ghraib.
2- He was one of the founders and member of the leadership of the Kurdish Freedom and Revival Association and Union (KAJIK) which was involved in the underground struggle for 15 years.
3. He had secret relations with PASOK and after the uprising, he formed the political school of PASOK with four like-minded people.
4- In 2004, he was one of the founders of the Kurdistan Independence Congress.
5- He was the editor of the magazine (Hiwa) (1957) and (1958) and the editor of the Independence newspaper of PASOK (1991) to (1993).
6. In 1963, the military governor-general Rashid Muslih issued an arrest warrant for him on charges of buying a car for Mullah Mustafa Barzani. and he replies to these charges by saying: if i had money i would buy a bicycle for myself.
7- In 1974 and 1975, he was a judge and inspector of justice during the September Revolution.
8- Currently the President of the Kurdistan National Congress / Southern Leadership.[1]
