He was born in 1970 in #Jiwanro# and received a bachelor's degree in Arabic literature from #Sanandaj# University and a master's degree in theology from #Tehran# University. He began his political career as a student activist in 1985 and joined the PKK in 1996. He was the PKK's representative in Syria and Lebanon for three years.
He was one of the founders of the PJAK, the East Kurdistan branch of the PKK, and held diplomatic responsibilities in the organization. After coming down from Kandil and separating from the PJAK, he founded the Kurdistan Democratic Union (KDU) with several former friends and is currently its secretary.[1]
