کە گوێی لێ بگری بۆ تۆ بەکارە
بە کاریش نەیە هەر یادگارە
دەورەی خوێندنی عیلم و فنوونە
نەخوێندەواری جاهیل زەبوونە
ئەگەر خاوەندی ئەقڵ و کەماڵی
بچۆرە مەکتەب هەتا بیست ساڵی
بۆ ئەوە نەچی ببی بە مەئموور
بە ڕەنجی شانی خۆت ئەبی ڕووسوور
سنعەتێکی وا کە بە فەن بکرێ
کەڵکی شەرەفی شاریشت بگرێ
قەولی ڕەسووڵی ئاخر زەمانە
وەتەن خۆشویستن شەرتی ئیمانە
من کە نەفسی خۆم وەها دواکەوتم
بە لێفەی جەهل و نەزانی خەوتم
خەتای خۆم نەبوو گەورەی زەمانم
نیشانی نەدام ڕێگەی ژیانم
هەرچی پێی وتم ئەسبابی خەو بوو
ڕۆژی ڕووناکم لا نیوەشەو بوو
وتی غەیرە دین خەسارە ماڵی
ئاڵتوون و زیوی تا بە حەماڵی
هیچ خەفەت مەخۆ ئەو زەرق و بەرقە
دینی تۆ هەقە هینی ئەو لەقە
ئەو هەر لە دنیا خۆشگوزەرانە
بەشی ئاخری زەجر و لێدانە
بەشی تۆ قەسر و عەیش و شەرابە
خواردنت شیری ساف و کەبابە
مەیشچۆرە مەکتەب لە دین دەرئەچی
ببە بە حەمماڵ یا بە قەتارچی
بچیتە مەکتەب یەقین کافری
هەر قەتارچی بی هێشتا چاتری
سی ساڵ دانیشتم بەم خەیاڵەوە
دڵ پڕ لە دەرد و ئاه و ناڵەوە
تا نانم هەیە بەرگم دڕاوە
دەستم لە کەسب و سنعەت بڕاوە
نە پارەم هەیە نە هێزی ئەژنۆ
نە کارم پێک دێ بە پینە و پەڕۆ
ئەوە کە دنیای لە لا بۆگەنە
بۆی هەڵئەپەڕم دەست بە چەقەنە
نازانم دنیا کە کەس نەویستە
بۆ لای هەموو کەس هەر خۆشەویستە [1]
