He was born on 10-03-1951 in Saqiz. He was interested in art since childhood and expressed his interest in several fields such as photography, painting, and crafts. As a result, he became a lover of music.
The lack of a place to learn music in his city has always caused Mr. Rasoul Mirzapour sadness and restlessness, but he has worked tirelessly to achieve this love and has turned to it with love wherever he has shown a glimmer of his music.
In 1960, he learned some basic music lessons in the form of Kurdish songs on the violin from Rashid Faiznejad as a peer, and later from Yousef Ghaffarnejad, a native of Urmia, in Saqiz, because he was a military cadre and a good musician who supervised the army music group. Mr. Rasouli, who was eager for music, learned several songs from him.
In 1971, he went to Danish Sarai Moqadamati in Bijar for two years and studied teaching and became a primary school teacher.
In 1973, he became a schoolteacher in Mazwar village in Sarshiv district of Saqiz for a year.
In the summer of 1974, he married Farida Khanum Fathi, a relative of his, in Bana. She has always been a supporter of Mr. Rasoul and his children.
In 1975, he went to Sanaa for a short time and completed his basic music lessons with Hassan Kamkar. In the same year, he began his collaboration with the Culture and Art Band. He also taught songs to young children in primary and pre-primary schools (kindergarten) for two years. At the same time, he went to the women's organization one day a week and sang hymns and songs for children as an honorary member of the organization.
Rasoul Mirzapour received his literary diploma in 1977. In 1979, he participated in the national music examination of Tehran University. Unfortunately, after the victory of the Iranian People's Revolution, the music departments in universities were closed for ten years and Mr. Rasoul remained without a school.
Finally, in 1989, ten years after the opening of the music department, Mirzapour was accepted as a student at Tehran University of Arts. After more than four years, he received his bachelor's degree in music and returned to his hometown of Saqiz.[1]
