Abdullah Papur

Abdullah Papur
Abdullah Papur (2 Nisan 1945; Divriği, Sivas - 9 Eylül 1988), Türk halk ozanlarındandır. Birçok #Kürtçe# türkünün yanı sıra Türkçe eserlere de imza atmıştır. Uzun havaları ile bilinmektedir. 9 Eylül 1988 tarihinde bir trafik kazasında ölmüştür.

Hayatı
#Kürt Alevisi# bir ailenin çocuğu olarak Sivas'ın Divriği ilçesinde doğup Kangal'a bağlı İğdeli köyünde yetişmiştir. Küçük yaşlarda ozanlık geleneği ile büyümüştür. Şiirlerinde sevgi, ayrılık, gurbetlik ve sosyal konulara değinmiştir. Çoğunlukla türkü, deyiş ve uzun hava söylemiştir. Çift Camlardan Ses Gelmiyor adlı türküsü halk arasında en çok bilinenlerdendir. Gardiyan Türküsü ise siyasi sebep gösterilmiş ve Papur'un iki yıl hapis yatmasına sebebiyet vermiştir ve bu süreç içerisinde yeni eserlere imza atmıştır. Abdullah Papur, pek çok albüm çıkarmıştır. Halk arasında Papur olarak bilinmektedir. Abdullah Papur'un oğlu Ercan Papur bir halk sanatçısı olarak babasının geleneğini yaşatmaya çalışmaktadır.
