Mahsa Amini

Mahsa Amini
Eine junge Iranerin ist nach ihrer Festnahme durch die Sittenpolizei gestorben. Die 22-jährige Mahsa Amini hatte nach Polizeiangaben nach ihrer Festnahme einen Herzanfall erlitten und war ins Koma gefallen. Heute sei sie im Krankenhaus gestorben, berichtete das Staatsfernsehen. Die Polizei bestätigte den Tod der 22-Jährigen und erklärte, es habe keinerlei „körperlichen Kontakt“ zwischen ihr und den Polizeibeamten gegeben. Die genauen Umstände ihres Todes sind jedoch unklar.
Offenbar um eine Ausbreitung der Proteste zu verhindern, wurde im Land das Internet eingeschränkt. In den Onlinenetzwerken kursierten nach dem Tod der Frau, die tagelang in Gewahrsam der Religionspolizei war, Videos mit vielen Sicherheitskräften vor einer Klinik.

Verhaftung am Dienstag
Amini war am Dienstag in Teheran von der Sittenpolizei festgenommen worden, die für die Durchsetzung der strengen Kleidervorschriften für Frauen zuständig ist. Die 22-Jährige wurde nach Polizeiangaben wegen „des Tragens unangemessener Kleidung“ zusammen mit anderen Frauen auf eine Polizeidienststelle gebracht, um über die Kleidervorschriften unterrichtet zu werden. Dort sei sie in einem Besprechungsraum „plötzlich ohnmächtig“ geworden und ins Krankenhaus gebracht worden.
Amnesty: Gibt Vorwürfe von Folter
Was genau zwischen ihrer Ankunft auf der Dienststelle und ihrer Einlieferung ins Krankenhaus geschah, ist jedoch unklar. Laut der Aktivistengruppe „1500 Tasvir“, die über Menschenrechtsverstöße im Iran berichtet, erlitt sie einen Schlag gegen den Kopf.
Die Menschenrechtsorganisation Amnesty International berichtete, es gebe „Vorwürfe von Folter und anderen Misshandlungen während des Gewahrsams“, und forderte eine Untersuchung der Umstände des „verdächtigen“ Todes der jungen Frau.

Sittenpolizei verstärkt in Kritik
Aminis Leiche wurde laut dem Staatsfernsehen in die Gerichtsmedizin gebracht. Vor Bekanntwerden des Todesfalls hatte der iranische Präsident Ebrahim Raisi mitgeteilt, dass er den Innenminister mit der Untersuchung des Falls beauftragt habe.
Die Sittenpolizei, die auf iranischen Straßen die Einhaltung der Kopftuchpflicht und anderer Regeln kontrolliert, stand zuletzt zunehmend in der Kritik.[1]
