He is a retired cultural figure and one of the well-known figures of Saqiz region, especially in the education and training class, who has been trying continues way for many years to educate, train and develop the boys and girls of Saqiz region scientifically for many years.
Mahiedini Shakri was born in January 1937 in Karez village, only 6 kilometers away from Saqiz city located at eastern of Saqz city. At the age of seven, he went to serve the famous religious leaders and sheikhs of Dozaghara village. His education was established by these saints in the realm of his mind and led to his development. Therefore, he took a bold and wise step and went to Saqiz for further studies. In 1950, he stayed with his cousin during the cold season. During the nice weather he was traveling between Karez and Saqiz in the evening and morning. For Two winters when the weather was very cold, he went back to the scholars of Dozghara until he was able to receive a cycle certificate.
In 1956, he went to the university in Sanaa (Danish sarai Muqadamati). Unfortunately, he did not get day and night University as due to his bad luck the Danish Sara was not available in the form of Day and night during those two years of 1956 and 1957. Therefore, he rented a house with one of his classmates unfortunately they faced very hard time and difficulties until he obtains Diploma degree in 1958. Back then the education center of Bana was part of the education department of Saqiz and Shakri was sent to Bana for a year to teach children in that city.
However, the love and charm of Bana and its friendly and knowledgeable people made him stay in the city for 10 years until he participated in the national examination in 1968 and was admitted to Tehran University He was both a student and a teacher in Tehran during the year 1968 and 1972.
Another honor of Mr. Shakri is the medal of honor of his family and the people of Saqzeh. He was the first person in Saqzeh to graduate from Tehran University with the first rank of educational sciences. 16/1/51 , 22395 ) The Iranian Ministry of Education will facilitate him to continue his studies in the United States.
Unfortunately, this dream did not come true like most of the dreams of Kurdish youth in the last stages and they were forced to move to Maragha in 1972 with five child. After a while of serving in education of Ajab Sher, Bana and Malkani he was transferred to Mahabad in 1975 uponhis request and in 1980 he was transferred to Saqiz. After teaching in high schools, universities of Dabirstan, Danishsara and Payam Noori University in Saqiz, he retired in 1995.
Mahieddin Shakri has also written a book on psychology called Tabshi Az Yak Gawhar, which is still remained in a corner of his room and he hopes to publish it in the coming years.[1]
