Mizgin Aydin

Mizgin Aydin
Nach dreißig Jahren in türkischen Haftanstalten ist die politische Gefangene Mizgin Aydin aus dem Frauengefängnis Gebze freigelassen worden. Bei ihrer Entlassung sagte die Kurdin, dass sie nicht von Freiheit sprechen könne, solange nicht alle frei seien.
Mizgin Aydin ist nach dreißigjähriger Haft in türkischen Gefängnissen aus der Frauenvollzugsanstalt Gebze bei Istanbul entlassen worden. Die politische Gefangene war 1992 im Alter von 19 Jahren von einem Staatssicherheitsgericht (DGM) in Amed (tr. #Diyarbakir#) wegen Mitgliedschaft in einer terroristischen Vereinigung zu dreißig Jahren Freiheitsstrafe verurteilt worden.
Während ihres Aufenthalts in Gefängnissen in Êlih (Batman), Sêwas (Sivas), Mêrdîn (Mardin), Elbistan, Çewlîg (Bingöl) und zuletzt in Gebze in der Westtürkei war Mizgin Aydin mehrmals im Hungerstreik. Sie leidet unter hohem Blutdruck und Nierenproblemen und wird momentan wegen Brustkrebs behandelt.
Bei ihrer Entlassung aus dem Frauengefängnis in Gebze am Mittwoch wurde Mizgin Aydin von zahlreichen Menschen begrüßt. Neben Familienangehörigen warteten Mitglieder der Gefangenenhilfsorganisation MATUHAY-DER und der Initiative der Friedensmütter vor dem Gefängnistor. Aus Istanbul angereist waren außerdem die Gefangenenangehörigen, die seit Monaten eine „Gerechtigkeitswache“ abhalten und die Freilassung von Kranken aus der Haft fordern. Bei der Begrüßung herrschte ausgelassene Stimmung, es wurden viele Küsse ausgetauscht und wurden Blumen überreicht.
Mizgin Aydin hielt eine kurze Ansprache, in der sie an die Menschen erinnerte, die im Kampf für Freiheit und Demokratie ums Leben gekommen sind. Weiter erklärte sie: „Solange noch eine von uns im Gefängnis ist, ist diese Freiheit keine Freiheit. Alle unsere Freundinnen und Freunde im Gefängnis müssen freigelassen werden.“
Mit ihren Angehörigen, die sie abholten, fuhr Mizgin Aydin schließlich los. Heute will sie weiterfahren an ihren Geburtsort Amed.[1]
