He was born on 28-09-1976 in Baghdad. He completed his primary and secondary education in Shorsh schools (belonging to the Democratic Party). In 1993 he received a diploma in literature in Erbil. In 1994, he was awarded a scholarship by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Kurdish Institute in Paris. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (1998), a Master of Political Law (1999), a Master of International Law (2001) from the University of Strasbourg, and a Diploma in International Human Rights (2002) from the International Human Rights Institute in Strasbourg. In 2001 and 2002, he taught constitutional law to first-year students at the Institute of Political Science at the University of Strasbourg, and in the spring terms of 2003, 2004 and 2005, he taught minority rights to master's students at the Institute for European Studies at the University of Strasbourg. Since 2006, he has been an assistant professor at the Institute for International Studies in Geneva. He began his political and organizational struggle in the Kurdistan Democratic Youth Union of Iran. In 1999, he was elected secretary of Amnesty International's youth branch in Strasbourg and in 2000, president of the Kurdish Students Association in France. In 1996, he officially became a member of the Democratic Party. In 2004, he was appointed as the assistant representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Iran (HDK) abroad. After the split of the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (December 2006), he became a member of the executive committee and head of the media of the Kurdistan Democratic Party abroad. He was elected as a member of the central committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Iran (HDK) at its 14th congress in March 2008 and is currently in charge of the international relations department abroad.[1]
