Amin Fayzi Bag

Amin Fayzi Bag
He was born in 1862 in Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan. He began his education in the mosques in his hometown. He went to the public school, completed his primary education, went to Baghdad, completed his secondary education with high grades and moved to Istanbul. He graduated and was appointed as a lieutenant in the Ottoman army. He was later appointed Qul Aghasi and director of the military school in Baghdad. He was proficient in two fields and at the same time was very skilled in managing the affairs of the army. Therefore, he was promoted to the command of a brigade in Sulaymaniyah and given the rank of Mir Ala. He was very talented and capable.
Therefore, Rafiq Hilmi in the first volume of Kurdish poetry and literature said: Amin Faizi Beg was a scholarly soldier and a literary militant! This talent is rarely found in someone who combines science, literature, and military affairs.
Amin Faizi Beg retired around the year 1914, before the outbreak of World War I, because of his Kurdish position and disagreement with the ruling Unity and Progress Party. He lived in Istanbul. In 1915 he moved to the Levant and lived in Hallab for a while.
Amin Faizi Beg has published the following scientific and literary books in Turkish:
1. Excellent results
2. The division of mathematics (this speaks of integration and evolution).
3. Breezy Air (هەوای نەسیمی)
4. Sho'aat
In addition to these works, he published a book on the history of Kurdish literature called Anjumani Adiban in Kurdish and was published in Istanbul in 1920. The value of this book is that it is the first Kurdish book on Kurdish literature.
Amin Faizi Beg passed away on #16-02-1925#.[2]
