Ali Atalan (d. 5 Ocak 1968, Midyat, Mardin) Êzidî asıllı Alman politikacı.

Biografisi
Türkiye'de Ezidi bir ailenin çocuğu olarak büyüyen Ali Atalan, 1985'te Almanya'ya ailesiyle geldi. Lise bitirme imtihanından sonra Bochum'da bulunan Ruhr Üniversitesi'nde siyaset bilimi ve sosyoloji okudu ve tahsilini Diplom-Sozialwissenschaftler unvanıyla tamamladı. Yüksek lisansını Uluslararası İlişkiler üzerine yaptı.

Dülmen'de 1990 - 1994 arasında şehrin sosyal komitesi üyesiydi. 1998 - 2001 arasında Bündnis 90/Die Grünen partisinde aktif olan Atalan, 2001'den beri Sol Parti partisinin üyesidir.

2004 - 2010 arasında Münster'in şehir parlametosu üyesi olan Atalan, 2009'dan itibaren parlamentodaki Die Linke fraksyonunun üyesidir. 2010 - 2012 yılları arasında 15. yasama döneminde Kuzey Ren-Vestfalya'nın eyalet parlamentosuna milletvekili seçilince, şehir parlamentosundaki üyeliğinden çekildi. Almanya’da Sol Parti'de Barış Komisyonu Sözcülüğü yaptı. Êzîdî Dernekleri Federasyonu (FKÊ) Eş Başkanlığı yaptı.[1]

25. Dönem Milletvekili Genel Seçimlerinde Batman milletvekili seçilmiştir. 26. Dönem Milletvekili Genel Seçimlerinde ise Mardin milletvekili adayı olmuş ve seçilmiştir.[1]

Çok iyi düzeyde Kürtçe ve Almanca bilen Atalan, evli ve 4 çocuk babasıdır.
