Образование:
В 1997 г. окончил факультет экономики Тбилисского университета им. Ив. Джавахишвили по специальности «финансы и кредит», в 1998–2001 гг. аспирант Института востоковедения РАН («история международных отношений и внешней политики»), кандидатскую диссертацию по курдскому вопросу защитил в 2001 г. в ИВ РАН.
Является рецензентом издаваемого в Турции международного рецензируемого журнала по курдоведению Nûbıhar Akademî (nubiharakademi.com/en/kunye).[1]
