Kaziwa Salih is a PhD candidate in Cultural Studies at Queen’s University, Canada. She is a founder of Anti-Genocide International, and the author of over 10 fiction and non-fiction books. Salih has received 14 international awards, and worked in many human rights organizations including the United Nations Association in Canada, Amnesty International, and other organizations in Canada, Kurdistan, Egypt, and Syria.
