Aras Mohammed Salih
Nickname: Aras Mohammed Salih Baram Because his father's name is written as Mohammed Salih in official documents, he always writes his father's name as Mohammed Salih.
In the early spring of 1970 in the Bazian area he was born.
He attended the village school in 1976-1977 and completed his fifth grade in the village. He completed his sixth grade in Allayi camp in 1983-1974 In 1984, he moved to #Sulaymaniyah# and settled in Sheikh Mohidin neighborhood. He completed his secondary education at the Boys' Information Center between 1984-1987 and his high school at Roshnbiri Boys High School in Sulaimani between 1987-1991 He graduated from the sixth grade of high school in 1991. He returned from Penjwen and passed the examination. In 1992, he entered the College of Sharia of Duhok University. He graduated in 1995-1996.
In the academic year (1998-1999) he was employed as an Arabic language teacher in Sulaymaniyah Education. In 2001, he received his master's degree. In 2005, he received his Ph.D. In 2004, he became a lecturer in the Department of Islamic Studies, College of Humanities, Sulaimani University. In 2011, he received the rank of Assistant Professor in the same college. In 2019, he became a professor.
As a writer and journalist, he constantly writes in newspapers, magazines, and websites, mostly in the fields of intellectual, cultural, Islamic, historical, and cultural. He has given interviews on radio and television and is continuously active in this field.
He has more than 30 scientific papers published in academic and cultural journals. He has participated in several scientific conferences and meetings and received honorary awards. He has translated several books, including: 1. An Introduction to Sulaymaniyah mosques and Religious Schools, translated by Mohammed Qazaljaei and published in 2013 Secondly, Sheikh Mohammed Khal in a series of press interviews, published in 2014 Third: Islamic Discourse (Problems and Solutions), published in 2015 Fourth: Weak and fabricated hadiths about the month of Ramadan, published in 2017 Fifth: Awa Rashay Rusi Sur, written by Piramirdi Shair, researched and published. Sixth: He researched forty hadiths of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) written by Muhammad Qazaljaei. Seventh / History of Khurmal School and Great Mosque, published in 2020
He currently has several books ready for publication. He is currently a lecturer in the College of Islamic Sciences of Sulaimani University. He is a member of the World Union of Journalists and regularly writes for magazines, newspapers, and websites. He has given a number of interviews on radio, newspapers and TV.[1]
