He was born in 1950 in Barwari Bala (Amedi region - Duhok province, South Kurdistan) and graduated from university in Baghdad.
He obtained a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Baghdad University in the year 1972 and a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Salahaddin in the year 2006.
In the year 1968 he joined the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).
In the year 1974, he became a Peshmerga and was the administrator of the Sheikhan area committee
In the year 1976, he moved to Austria and began studying computer science. He was elected to the European Branch at the Berlin Conference.
From February 1980 to June 1982, he was a Peshmerga in the Political Bureau (Media and Organization) and head of the first branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).
From 1997 to 2000, he was head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP)'s central media bureau.
In the years 2000 and 2001, he was in charge of the 7th Branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK) in the United States.
From 2001 to 2003, he was in charge of the Brayati and Khabat Press Agencies,
From 2003 to 2007, he was in charge of political affairs in President Masoud Barzani's office.
From 2007 to 2009, he was in charge of the Central Bureau of Party Studies and Education.
Since the year 2009, he has been a member of the Kurdistan Parliament and head of the Social Affairs and Family Committee.
He is fluent in English, German, Arabic and Persian.
He is the president and founder of the Center for Democracy and Human Rights Research.[1]
