In his own words:
I am Khalid Zare'i. I was born on June 19, 1980 in Dara Shekhani village of Khurkhoray area of Saqiz. I was the fifth child of 13 siblings consisting of six brothers and five sisters.
I came to Saqiz in 1983 and I still live in this city.
I started my primary education and continued my studies until I received a diploma in electrical engineering. I was working from the beginning of my studies and could not continue my studies due to poverty. I had to start working to earn a living. For this purpose I went to Tehran and worked there for two years.
After my return, I went to military service and after completing my military service, I opened a lantern shop for my livelihood and continued this profession for six years.
On June 17, 2001, I started training in Omidi Youth Club under the guidance of Mr. Jamal Ardalan. After nine months, I was able to win the third place in the 55 kg weight category.
Two years later, when Samand Club was officially opened in Baharestan neighborhood, I asked Mr. Jamal for permission to continue my physical education in Samand Club.
On February 20, 2004, I won the second place in power lifting in Saqiz in the 52 kg weight category and then on June 25, 2005, I won the second place in the 55 kg weight category in Kurdistan province.
On June 29, 2005, I participated in the 52 kg weight category in the chest competition between Saqiz and Bokan clubs and won the first place.
On June 20, 2005, I participated in the Tehran Olympics and won the first place in the 52 kg weight category in the press category.
On February 30, 2005, I won the first place in the 55kg adult weight category in Kurdistan province.
On July 14, 2005, with the establishment of the Iranian Education Federation, I was able to win the fourth place in the 55 kg weight category.
On July 20, 2006, I participated in the Saqiz Iron Game Selection Competition and won first place.
On June 19, 2006, I participated in the Kurdistan Provincial Elections and won the first place in the 52 kg weight category.
On January 15, 2006, I participated in the wrestling competition held between Saqiz and West Azerbaijan clubs in Bokan. In this competition, I won the first place in the 52 kg weight category Member of Bokan on the occasion of my permanent and proud participation in sports.
In 2006, I was forced to leave my family and city for a year and a half due to life's problems. During this time, I worked as a heavy truck driver, but at the same time I tried to contribute to sports in my city.
On June 17, 2008, I received a plaque of appreciation for participating in sports activities.
In 2005, I was able to obtain a teacher's card from the General Federation of Iran.
On January 18, 2008, I participated in the Figo competition in Kurdistan province in the weight category of 55 kg and won second place.
Since January 30, 2008, I have been working as a participant, shareholder and coach in Samand Bodybuilding Club.
During my five years of physical education, I have been able to achieve a significant position for my city. I am still working part-time in a club and looking for work to support my family and children.[1]
