He was born in 1956 in Sulaymaniyah.
Since 1972, he has worked as an actor and writer in Kurdish theater.
He has participated in dozens of plays, dramas, and films.
He graduated from the Department of Media at Sulaymaniyah University.
He is a longtime employee of the Sulaymaniyah Public Library.
He has published 36 literary, theatrical, research, journalistic and translation books.
He is the secretary of Salar Theater Troupe and the editor-in-chief of the art magazine Shakar.
In 1982, he married Suham Ali and his three children (Rasti, Rawaz and Shano) have participated in many theatrical and productions as actors.
