Omar Rasoul
He was born in 1957 in Sulaymaniyah. He is currently living in the Netherlands.
He participated in his first exhibiton in Goyzha school in Sulaymaniyah. Since then, he continued to work in the field of painting and has participated in many exhibitions inside and outside the country.
Some of his works and activities:
1979 Opened his first private exhibition in Goyzha school hall in Sulaymaniyah.
1981 Opened his second private exhibition in Sulaymaniyah Museum.
1989 Opens third solo exhibition at Abdulkadir al-Rassam Gallery-Baghdad.
1982 Kurdish Artists Exhibition in Italy.
1983 Exhibition of seven artists in Sulaymaniyah Museum.
1984 With Saman Qadir and Omar Darwish in Kirkuk.
1985 With Omar Darwish in Erbil Castle.
1986 First Kurdish Art Festival in Erbil Media Hall.
1986 with Omar Darwish in Sulaymaniyah.
1991 Minator Exhibition, Sulaymaniyah Museum Hall.
1993 Poster exhibition in Goyzha Hall, Sulaymaniyah.
1993 Poster exhibition dedicated to Halabja Martyr Goyzha Hall.
1993 Poster exhibition dedicated to the mine hall of Sulaymaniyah Museum, in the same year in Germany.
1993 Exhibition of eight artists at the Hall of Le Monde Dillard, France.
1994 The noord brabant museum in Den Bosch, the Netherlands.
In 1994, he opened his fifth solo exhibition in the town hall of Maslaus. In the same year, one of his paintings was selected in an art competition and became the New Year's card of Maslaus.
1994 Opens his fourth solo exhibition at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.
1995 Co-exhibition of Maslaus Artists at De groene sti hall /Netherlands.
1996 Maslaus Artists at De Groene Stip Maslaus.
1997 Joint exhibition with artist Payman Abdulqadir at Art Leathering Gallery, Maslaus/Netherlands.
1998 Joint exhibition with artist Payman Abdulqadir in Monsieur Paul Hall, Maslaus/Netherlands
1998 Joint exhibition of artists called Atelierroute in Maaslaus/Netherlands.
1998 Joint exhibition at the Luxor theater on the occasion of World Disability Day in Flaardingen/Netherlands.
1998 Joint exhibition of foreign artists including Chinese and African in Stadsgehoorzaal Hall in Flanders / Netherlands - Kurdish artist Payman Abdulqadir.
1999 Joint exhibition of artists called Kunstestafette in Maslaus / Netherlands, which included 63 artists, including Kurdish artists, Khalid Rasul, Payman Abdulqadir.
2000 Joint exhibition of artists at Maslaus Museum/Netherlands.
2000 Joint exhibition of Kurdish artists in Den Haag/Netherlands. Artists: Ashti Garmiani, Khalil Kakaei, Payman Abdulqadir, Suad Star, R.S.A Hall entitled Anfal, as well as a joint exhibition with artist Payman Abdulqadir at Pervela Gallery in Flaringen/Netherlands.
2000 Joint exhibition with artist Payman Abdulqadir at Pervela Gallery in Flaardingen/Netherlands.
2002 Exhibition of Maslaus artists at the Maslaus Museum entitled Perspectief.
2002 Joint exhibition at FACES Festival in Finland.

2005 Kunst Kado salon exhibition in Maslaus.
2006 Anfal and Halabja Festival in Den Haag.
2006 15th Biennial Festival in Tokyo/Japan.
