His full name is Ahmad Mahmoud he is also known as Aha Khula Sanaei, he was born in 1923 in #Sulaymaniyah# in Sarshaqam neighborhood from a poor family. He was initially placed in hujra to study the Qur'an, which was very popular at that time. He dropped out of hujra because of poverty and started working and started going to other cities. Solitude, Sadness was part of his life, this great artist married in Sulaymaniyah and had children they named him Jamal, Jalal, Jaza, Shamal, Nask and Banaz.

He started his career in 1953. After people gradually heard his voice, he became and more more popular and people started liking him a lot. He has sang with many artists of that time, such as Mamle, Zirak and Mardan.
This artist after a long struggle with illness he passed away on #03-04-1997# in Sulaymaniyah, he was buried in the same city with the attendance of a lots of people of the city.[1]

About his works, most of his works talks about his won life and his struggles, he has several stories and in the theatre of Matada he was one of the actors, most of his works were recorded in the houses. But still he was able to develop Kurdish music and songs, he has a good relationship with the famous Kurdish singer Hassan Zirak, by listening to his songs the listener understands how hard his life was and how much he had struggled. But this poverty was the source of his songs and he sang as a way to show his discomfort in this cruel world.[2]
