Mojtaba Mirzadeh
Mojtaba Mirzadeh
He was born in Kirmanshah in 1945 and studied until 5th grade of elementary school in the city of Ilam, and he started is musical city in that same city. Per his own words, he was the first person who pushed and motivated youngsters in Ilam to pursue music. From a very young age, firstly by making use of everyday equipment such as spoons and cups, and later with flute and santoor he tried to produce music on his own and without help from a teacher. When he reached grade 6 of elementary school, he returned to Kirmanshah with his family. His father did not agree for him to pursue a career in music at first, until one of his father's friends convinced him to buy Mojtaba a violin, which he used with great passion and motivation. In 1959 he starts working in Sina Radio as part of the radio orchestra under the supervision of Hassan Kamkar, where he stays for a year and participates in producing many records with them. He returns to Kirmanshah in 1960 and starts working in Kirmanshah Radio where he helps record hundreds of records for many famous Kurdish singers including (Hassan Zirak) and (Mazhari Khaliqi) and many others. After (Hassan Zirak) is forced to leave the radio, he doesn't want to stay there either and leaves to study music in Tehran, where he manages to successfully participate and enrich Persian music. Aside from being the instrumentalist for many Kurdish and Persian singers, he also produced the tunes for many of them. He could play many instruments professionally, and lead many famous musical bands, where he organised concerts in many different countries. He produced music for as many as 90 cinematic films.
He passed away on #16-04-2005#.[1]
