Definition: GKA is an independent scientific and environmental group with a moral characteristic, whose works are to provide clean environment. It stands against all the human actions that imbalance nature and has legal rights to sue.
A summary of the association:
The association is founded in 16-october-1991 in addition to, it has been granted a formal permission and continuously performing its activities which based on three major axes:
1.Encountering any demeanor versus environment.
2. Endeavoring to raise the standard of environment awareness which involved the whole Kurdistan Region.
3.Cooperating in raising greenery including, provinces, districts, sub-districts.
From the time being, Green Kurdistan Association supervised by the high committee, that was selected in the recent congress in 22-November-2009.
