She was born in 1951 in #Khanaqin#.
She graduated from primary school in 1962.
In 1970 she graduated from high school and in 1974 from the College of Literature, Department of Kurdish Language.
In 1981, he published a collection of stories called Prd(Bridge).
In 1999 he received a master's degree in Kurdish short stories.
Ahlam Mansour is a prominent name in Kurdish literature and culture. She was the first woman to enter the difficult cultural and civil struggle from Garmaser as a brave, rebellious and anti-popular woman.
Ahlam was born in 1951 in Khanaqin. She graduated from the Kurdish Department of the College of Literature of Baghdad University in 1974 and obtained a master's degree in the same city.
She entered the world of literature and writing as a brave and pioneering woman in the early 1970s and served as a storyteller, novelist and writer. Her works reflect the reality of Kurdish social life in general and Khanaqin in particular.
Her collection of stories (Bridge) is considered to be her first work and later she proved her high literary ability and taste with her novels (Ama Rash) and (Alwan). She has published several other books, such as Xawn w Xwen ( Dreams and Blood) and Dystopia.
In addition to stories and novels, Ahlam Mansour also wrote essays, which she wrote with the utmost courage and criticized stealthy phenomena.
Ahlam has served as an academic and university lecturer in both #Sulaymaniyah# and #Koya# universities.
Unfortunately, this prominent Kurdish woman passed away on #10-01-2013# in Sulaymaniyah and was buried in the cemetery (Khdr Zinda) in Khanaqin.[1]
