I was born in 1937 in Kirkuk. My father is called Mardan, Mardan is not my family's name. I started singing at the age of six or seven and recorded my first song in 1956 at the #Baghdad# radio station.
On#08-06-2014# artist (Qader Mardan) passed away in Sweden at the age of 76.[1]
