He is more commonly known as Haji Makki.
Makki Abdullah was born in 1939 in Amedi, Duhok province.
He has participated in several artistic activities, and is one of the most well-recognised Kurdish comedy actors.
Makki Abdullah was also known as Alia Fani.
In addition to being very popular in Sulaymaniyah, he also spent years in Erbil, where he gained recognition.
On 2015-12-18, he suffered a heart attack and passed away.[1]
