He was born in 1945 from a religious family in Daraban village, whichi 15 kilometers from #Erbil# he was born in Banarati area. His father, who is Mullah Khdir, was a religious scholar who worked in a religious school in Daraban village for 18 years, many other Faqih and Mullah’s had been educated by Mullah Khdir Dashti, who is also known as Mullah Khdir Darabani, Ahmad Dashti's father was a scholar, poet and patriot. He composed many national poems that served the sense of nationality a lot back then. Most of Dashti's poems were read in rooms, mosques and occasions that are still common today. He wrote a book of poetry, a Mawlood letter and a letter of faith in Kurdish that were left behind him, He wrote the weight of Ibn al-Malik's alphabet and recently Mullah Qadir Bahrkayi, one of the student’s of Dashti, wrote a commentary on it and it was published. Ahmed Dashti started his education in his father's room in Daraban village and studied mullahship until the last classes. However, due to his connection with the Kurdistan Revolution, he could not obtain a mullah's license, he joined the revolution since the beginning of Eylul revolution. He worked with the publication and the radio Voice of Kurdistan since the establishment in The Rasha cave. He remained in the Eylul Revolution until the collapse of the revolution. Then he was He joined the Gulan Revolution and worked for Voice of Kurdistan and was the first head of Voice of Kurdistan in the 1980s. He was a refugee in Iran and Europe . he had many responsibilities in the revolution. He was the representative of execution bureau and head of check point in Koya and a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in 1967. He was a member of area and head of the Voice of Kurdistan Radio and member of second branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in the September Revolution he was the head of social structure of the revolution and the head of the organization of PDK in Europe. He wrote many essays and poems that are published in the newspapers and websites. He has a book composed of 800 pages that contain his essays that has not been published yet. He has four unpublished essays, four books of poetry, with the names The blood of earth, The Lost Peshmarga, The melody of Melancholy and another unpublished book. Another book of his with the name The Life Lessons has been Published that is composed of 300 pages. He has also translated the novel The Castle of Animals into Kurdish in 1980, which has not been published. The book the Higher Words has not been published yet and the Memories of the death of the late Barzani, which have been published, as well as animals of speech, which have been published in electronic sites, and a book called for Laughter, which contains a lot of jokes and funny sayings that has been published in electronic websites. He still writes essays and poems in the newspapers, magazines and on the Internet. And now he is a member of Eylul foundation and is still alive.[1]
