Sarhang Almas Khan was the commander of the Sanaa Brigade (Kurdistan Army) of the Nadri Army during the reign of Nader Shah. In the battle between Nader Shaw and the Ottoman forces in the castle of Kirkuk, In 1733, under the command of Topal Osman Pasha, Nadir Shah's army was defeated due to the military mistakes of Almas Khan.
