She was born on 22-01-1966 in the town of Kufri in Kirkuk province of South Kurdistan.
1978 Began writing poetry at the age of 12.
1980 In March of that year, his first poem was published in the weekly newspaper Hawkari.
1980 On April 27, 1980, he was imprisoned by the Iraqi Ba'ath regime for his defensive poetry. He was transferred from the torture chambers of the Kufri security forces to Baquba, from there to Zafraniya and then to the Baghdad public security.
1981 Sentenced to one year in prison in the Sawra court in Baghdad.
1982 Continues her political struggle in the secret organizations of the Kurdistan Ranjdaran Association. She published her poems and writings in urban newspapers and magazines under the name of Mahabad Qaradaghi, and in mountain magazines under the names of Hataw Garmyani, Zhala, Bardawam, Ala, etc.
In 1984 she entered the Kirkuk Institute of Arts, Department of Accounting and graduated in 1987.
1985 She presented her first poetry conferences in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah and was interviewed for the first time on Kurdish television in Kirkuk.
1991 Actively participated in the uprising. On March 10, he announced the first good news of the liberation of Kufri.
1991 Becomes a member of the Kurdish Writers Union at the Raperin Congress.
1992 Marries Mustafa Garmyani, a poet and writer.
1993 Moves to Sweden and settles there.
1994, she began publishing several books of poetry, stories, research and novels that were not allowed to be published during the Ba'ath regime due to censorship.

2001 Together with two other women, Shana Hidayati and Munira Mufti Zadeh, she founded the Kurdish Women's Project, produced a Kurdish women's petition and held several national and international conferences, which began and were announced in the British Parliament.

2004 They organized a conference on the 'Kurdish Women's Petition' in the Kurdistan Parliament building and the petition was submitted to the Kurdistan Regional Government and Parliament.

2005 At the request of Prime Minister Nichirvan Barzani, she returned to Kurdistan and became the Prime Minister's Advisor on Women's Affairs and Equality. It will start with the draft equality policy and the establishment of an equality agency in the Council of Ministers.
2008 Becomes a member of the High Committee for the Amendment of the Personal Status Law by the decision of the Prime Minister.
2010 Becomes a member of the Executive Committee of the Kurdish Writers Union.
2012 Becomes Director of the Kurdistan Women's Union Institute for Social Issues.
2013 Starts the project of the journal Hzri Warzi Analysis and the zero issue will be published on November 25 at the same institute.
2013 Graduated from the College of Education of Sabis University.
2018 Becomes a member of the Board of Mass and Professional Organizations of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
From 1991 to 2019, she published 34 works, including collections of poems, stories, novels, memoirs, sociological and psychological research, translations and educational books.
In addition to her native Kurdish, the author speaks Arabic, Swedish, English, Turkish and to some extent Persian.
Mahabad Qaradaghi passed away on Friday 09-10-2020.[1]
