Azad Jundyani
Azad is the son of Abdul Wahab Mohammad Ali #Rawandz#i, also known as Wahab Agha, who was one of the commanders of the Kurdistan Republic in Mahabad. and one of the founders of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
He was born in mid-December 1955 in Beshuki village of Rawandz.
He is a high school graduate.
In 1969 he joined the Kurdistan Students Union.
He was the youngest member of the Sixth Congress of the Students Union in the year 1970.
In 1973, he became a member of the students' area in Choman.
In 1973, he and a number of his classmates of Galala high school published the magazine Barwrunak.
After the failure of the September Revolution, he was exiled to Rumadiya with his family.
In 1977 he returned to Erbil and joined the Kurdistan Ranjdaran Organization in the spring of the same year.
1981 He was arrested and joined the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces.
1982 He becomes a member of Komala's organizing committee in Rawandz.
He became the first war reporter in the Balak and Rawandz regions of the Voice of the Iraqi Revolution radio, which later changed its name to the Voice of the Kurdistan People.
He later became a member of the Choman organization sector and later head of the sector.
He was a member of both the Second and Third Conferences of the Association.
In 1982, he became a member of the editorial board of the magazine Raparin, which was published in Warte under the rule of the revolution.
In 1988, he became a member of the editorial board of the newspaper Rebazi Nwe
In 1989, he became the PUK's representative in the Kurdistan Front media and editor-in-chief of the Kurdistan Front newspaper.
At the beginning of the Kurdistan Uprising, he returned to Voice of Kurdistan Radio as a writer and announcer.
After the uprising, he became the head of the Choman Committee for a while.
He also became a member of the Erbil headquarters of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.
In liberated Erbil, he published the magazine Raparin and the appendix of the magazine with a number of his comrades in Erbil.
In the zero issue of Kurdistan Nwe, he became the writing secretary of Kurdistan Nwe.
He was a member of the first congress of the PUK.
1994 He became the head of Soran headquarters.
1998 - Deputy Head of the Bureau of Democratic Organizations.
1999 - Assistant Secretary General of the PUK for Political and Intellectual Affairs.
He was elected as a member of the leadership at the second congress of the PUK.
After the congress, he became the head of the Erbil headquarters.
From mid-2000 to 2013, he was in charge of the PUK's media.
He became a reserve member of the PUK Political Bureau at the third congress.
He became an active member of the leadership of the movement, which later became known as the Decision Center.
On 0#9-02-2017# he officially left the PUK.[1]
