I was born on #23-10-1977# in Sulaymaniyah. I completed my primary and secondary education in Ranya but for my high school I was admitted to Erbil College of Sports Education in 1997, but due to the unfavorable political situation and civil war, I could not continue my studies there and I went to an institute because there was no physical education college in Sulaymaniyah. In 1999 I got higher diploma degree in teacher’s institute in Sulaymaniyah in the science of mathematics , I became a member of the Youth Activity Center and after graduating from the institute, I was employed as an employee of the Youth Center For example thus I participated in many cultural activities, in 1997, 1999 and 1998, we had poetry evenings with several poets and storytellers at the Youth Center. They were Mr. Goran Omar Rashid, Ayub Reza and Nashmil. Until April 2000, I was later employed as a civil servant in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. This ministry was part of the Ministry of Health, which was separated that year. Narmin Osman was its minister.

In July 2000, I was invited to work by my close friend Sardasht Abdul Rahman with the Women's Media and Intellectual Center. We accepted the proposal and started working seriously in the newspaper Riwan, which was still published under the name of ZHyanawa. We worked there for two years. During that time, I wrote several articles and reports for the newspaper and I was responsible for the 4th page of the newspaper. Ronak Rauf was the main head of this center, followed by Hawzhin Manmi and Ronak Faraj as editors and writing directors. Talar Nader, Koral Tofiq and Hana shwan were the main writers.
Then we were offered to work as journalists with Sardasht in Hawlati newspaper. We wanted to work in a free media that had nothing to do with party work and internal conflict. So in 2002 we started working as journalists in Hawlati. We prepared several field reports, investigations, interviews and political and social news for the newspaper. Our journalistic work began immediately after the ministry's work was completed.
In 2003, I applied to the Ministry of Higher Education to continue my studies. From there I was admitted to the College of Humanities, Department of Media.
In 2003, together with Amina Mahmoudi, a lawyer, Aso Jabari, a writer and journalist, and Aram Jamal, who is now the director of the organization, we started working as an organization at the Kurdish Institute for Elections we were watching over the Kurdistan and Iraq’s elections according to the International standards.
In 2006 I traveled to Norway due to my marriage. My activities in the field of women continue here and with a group of women called Kevinne Utvalgt in R.K.R we have held several conferences and seminars in Kurdish and Norwegian to raise awareness and provide information to Kurds living in Norway. The topics included forced marriage, domestic violence and female genital mutilation in Kurdistan.

I got married in 2006 and my husband is Aram Latif. I have a three and half year old daughter named Ilya.[1]
