Adnan Hussein Mahmoud
- He was born in 1968 in Sadat Pirkhdri Shaho, Douz.
He completed his primary and secondary education in Dowz and industrial high school in Dour district of Salahaddin province. He holds a bachelor's degree in geography from Kalar College of Education, Sulaymaniyah University in 2008-2009.
Last government rank Deputy Director General and Supervisor of both education in Douz and Khanaqin with the rank of Advanced Director.
One of his brothers was martyred on 1 #03-03-1991# in Khanaqin. He also lost one of his sisters in the Anfal campaign. In 1985, all members of their family were arrested by the security forces of Dowz and Tikrit and then sent to Sargalo and Bargalo. They are still political refugees of the veteran Peshmerga family.
- He joined Komala organizations in 1982 and was a Peshmerga of the support force for three years before the 1988 Anfal. After the Anfal, he joined with his brother Sayed Nuri in Garmki village of Sector 5 of Garmian Brigade.
After the 1991 spring uprising, he held the following positions as a cadre of the PUK and government in Garmian as follows:
- Member of Kalar Organizing Committee.
- Head of Garmian Martyrs Center.
- Political leader of Sherwana Battalion.
- 1993: Officer of the 2nd Brigade, Head of the Mir's Department in the Kirkuk Regional Command, of the United Kurdistan Army.
- 1994 - Officer of the delegation of the 44th Kalari Special Battalion of the Kirkuk Special Brigade, commander of the battalion (Martyr Fatih Sheikh Langari) and deputy to Mr. Hamid Bachkol, commander of the brigade, Martyr Sayed Jawhar.
- 1995 - Member of Douz Committee in Kufri and was proposed to the committee administration.
- In 1996, he was appointed as the head of Garmian Martyrs Bureau, followed by Cheto Hawezi and Shorsh Ismail.
- Later, the Martyrs' Affairs became the Martyrs' Agency, which was affiliated to the Kurdistan Regional Government.
- After the liberation of Iraq, he was appointed as the “Director of Education of Douz” by the administrative order of the Ministry of Education of the Kurdistan Region and then as the Deputy Director General of Education of Garmian.
- On 02-08-2005, the Hamrin headquarters was established in Douz and he became the headquarters administrator of the communications department because he knew Turkmen and Arabic well.
- In 2007, he was appointed as an advanced director and supervised both education departments in Douz and Khanaqin.
Candidate of the Kurdistan Alliance list in Salahaddin - Tikrit province for the 2010 Iraqi parliamentary elections.[1]
